INM have partnered with Volkswagen Ireland to create a unique content series focusing on one of the most compelling questions of our generation – how to lead a greener, eco-friendly lifestyle. The “Little Green Book” series ran in print over 21st / 22nd September in Ireland’s two best selling weekend newspapers – the Irish Independent on Saturday & the Sunday Independent.
Printed in booklet format on recyclable paper, the agenda setting content focused on themes such as how to run a plastic audit on your household, how to adjust our weekly shop to reduce food waste, what exactly does a sustainable diet look like, how to reduce the energy usage in our homes, and how to help bio-diversity in the garden. Contributors to the series included surfer and marine scientist Easkey Britton, Oisin Coughlan from Friends of the Earth, and environmentalist Saoirse McHugh. Following on from print publication, content was seeded out through independent.ie on its Greener Living section.
As exclusive partners, Volkswagen Ireland were able to showcase it’s state of the art range of electric and hybrid vehicles, including the ID.3, and the e-Golf. Volkswagen is creating new and innovative ways to reach carbon neutrality and has plans to drastically reduce the total CO2 emissions of it’s vehicle fleet to zero. As INM’s partners in the “Little Green Book” series, Volkswagen Ireland shared it’s commitment to a greener future with Ireland’s largest print and digital audiences nationwide.
