Independent News & Media are proud to sponsor the final Marketing Society Future Council event of 2018, ‘How to Crack Christmas’.

The most wonderful time of year is pulling us closer and with that ‘How to Crack Christmas’, the latest event from the Marketing Society Future Council will take place on Wednesday 14th November in the Lighthouse Cinema.

Christmas is the highlight of most people’s year, especially those in marketing. Many advertising campaigns have capitalised on the magic of Christmas over the years. With that in mind, the Future Council are bringing together the marketers behind some of the most iconic Christmas campaigns in the recent past.

Speakers on the night will include Mark Nutley & Patrick Hamill, the Creative Team behind the iconic Guinness Christmas ad, now running into its twelfth consecutive year. Along with Paul Buckley, the Head of Social Media in Aer Lingus behind the tear-jerking ‘Home for Christmas’ campaigns of 2015 and 2016.

The unique setting of the Lighthouse Cinema will provide an opportunity sit back, relax and take in a behind the scenes view of what is needed to crack your Christmas campaign.

A third speaker is due to be announced shortly. Sticking with the festive theme of the evening, there will be mulled wine, spot prizes and goody bags followed by food and refreshments served afterwards.

The Future Council, proudly sponsored by Independent News & Media provides thought leadership and networking opportunities through events and talks specifically created for marketing practitioners in the first five years of their careers.

Tickets are limited for this event but tickets are available here.
