FarmIreland.ie – Our leading digital agri news portal are delighted to announce the sponsorship of Rare Breed on TV3, 3e & be3
The show, which provides an in-depth look into life on Irish farms, has returned for a second series, following its successful first season last year. The sponsorship, which will run from February 28th to the final episode on June 6th is a perfect fit for FarmIreland.ie, which was launched in late October 2016, to provide quality, real-time daily news for the Irish farming community.
Since its launch, FarmIreland.ie, has grown to a monthly audience of 600,000 users, with 6.3 million impressions and nearly 4,000 app downloads. Data shows that 82% of those are accessing the content on handheld devices.
Geoff Lyons, Commercial Director, INM said Rare Breed is a perfect sponsorship for FarmIreland.ie as they share the same audience; Ireland’s farming community who are seeking quality content and information on farming life, and the ups and downs that go with it.
“The website and app of FarmIreland.ie were launched in direct response to an appetite from our readers for quality content, reflecting real life, and the real business of farming. To date, it has seen hugely positive engagement from users, with a current reach on Facebook of 740,000 users and year-on-year growth of our farming audience has increased seven-fold.”
“We are constantly monitoring and adapting our content to fulfil the needs and wants of our audience. From a marketing perspective, we are able to give our sponsors category exclusivity allowing brands to strategically engage with their key audience.”
Margaret Donnelly, Editor FarmIreland.ie said the partnership is built on this relationship; one professional, Irish farming brand supporting the other, and examining the real issues that affect Irish farming and the agri community.
“In January, Indepenedent.ie celebrated a record 12m unique users, which was helped by the launch of new products such as FarmIreland.
“FarmIreland’s success to date is a reflection of the quality of articles and trust that Independent.ie readers have in it as a brand.”
Virgin Media Solutions Brand Partnerships Manager, Sharon Ledwidge, said TV3 is delighted to partner with Farm Ireland on Rare Breed.
“There are a number of natural synergies with this established quality Irish programme and farmireland.ie. Both give viewers a fascinating and trusted insight into modern farming life. The multi-platform sponsorship deal brokered by Livewire Ireland will include broadcast sponsorship, as well as ownership of all digital elements.”
